Monorail

The Dormitory situated in the Naha city center area, just 20 minutes away from the Naha airport. The closest station to Dormitory Okinawa is Makishi. It takes 15 minutes from the Guesthouse to get the station by foot.

Parking

There is no free parking place. However there are many toll parking lots close to the Dormitory Okinawa. The average parking fee is 800 yen per 12 hours. Bicycle and motorbike parking are free of charge.

Yachimun street

Yachimun is a street with plenty of traditional okinawan pottery shops. In addition to shops, you also can see traditional okinawan architecture. Once you go into one of the narrow streets you will be able to experience the atmosphere of old Okinawa.

Kokusai street

Kokusai street is absolutely packed with stores, gift shops and restaurants on both sides of the street. It’s always crowded with Japanese and foreigner tourists. We recommend this place for buying cheap and funny souvenirs for you friends!

For those who like shopping, this is the place you would go in Okinawa. You will find food, fashion, art, culture, music, shopping and the market, along the street. This street is always busy day in and day out. Since it is equipped with a roof, it is perfect for shopping and chilling out on a rainy day. Moreover, there are many cheap drinking places called ”senbero” that let you get drink for just 1,000 yen (3 drinks and light snack included).
